I can't even count how many times I have seen someone online wearing a beautiful pair of lashes, you find out the style/brand and when you go to order them there's a delivery fee that costs more than the lashes or they are impossible to find. Since discovering www.falseeyelashes.co.uk the chances of this happening to me are next to nothing and I feel like everyone needs to know about them.
I am more than happy to admit I am such a lazy online shopper, I like to have everything in one place and this is why falseeyelashes.co.uk is perfect. Anything you could possibly need involving eyelashes is stocked on their site - I'm talking tools, strip lashes, individual lashes, adhesives etc, they even have a selection of make up not involving lashes. The lash selection is absolutely incredible, they stock Duo, Doll Beauty, Unicorn Lashes, Ardell, Lilly Lashes, Red Cherry, Kiss Lashes, the list goes on & with over 1000 lash styles in stock you are guaranteed to find a pair perfect for you.

Before falselashes.co.uk I was completely settled in my comfort zone repurchasing Ardell Wispies over and over. Although I still adore these lashes, I have discovered so many beautiful lashes that are just as affordable and perfect for everyday or evening looks.

Not only do they sell the lashes there is also a Lash Education tab where you can find information about all things lashes such as - application, removal, difference between lashes, patch testing etc. I personally used this to see which lashes would suit my eye shape when I was looking to purchase an entirely new brand/set. They also offer free first class delivery when you spend £10 on the site and trust me when you see the incredible offers and variety available, a tenner will be easy.

*these items were kindly gifted, however I have made my own purchases on their site since so all opinions are 100% honest and my own*

I doubt i'm alone when I say - if there is one thing that tests my patience it is applying false lashes.

Magnetic lashes have taken over social media and totally changed the game. They are so quick and easy to use, yet still look effortlessly beautiful. If you struggle with lash application or even if you have got it down to a T, you need a pair of these in your life.

When I say they are easy to make perfect, I mean incredibly easy and this is exactly how to do it:

How to apply Ardell Magnetic Lashes:

1. Apply a layer of the gel liner along your lash line and allow to dry
2. Go in with a second layer of the gel liner - this time whilst it is slightly damp still...
3. Grab the lash and place over your natural lashes so they sit comfortably where the liner is
4. If you don't like how they have initially attached then you are able to pull them away from the liner and re-position them
5. Slightly press down on the lashes to make sure they are totally secure & then repeat on the other eye.

How to remove Ardell Magnetic Lashes:

When it comes to removing them you will find that although they are still secure you can gently pull them away without pulling on the skin. They do recommend using an oil based cleanser but I find that micellar water works just fine.

If these sound like the dream to you then you can get yours here, they retail at £14.99 for the pair but with the amount of uses you get out of the kit it is totally worth it!

05 March
When it comes to skincare it is easy to believe that you need to spend more in order to get better results and that isn't necessarily true. I am guilty of believing this at points too - with the help of social media it can seem like the bigger the price tag the better it is for the skin, otherwise what else are you paying for?

If you told me I could buy a full skincare routine in Primark for under £20, even under £10 if you were on a budget - let's just say I wouldn't believe you in the slightest or the first thing that would come to mind would probably be 'it's going to be no good for my skin'. WRONG. A week or so ago I ran out of my holy grail Kiehl's moisturiser & my skin was having a hard time with hormones so I figured it would be the perfect time for me to try the products.

Primark have seriously upped their game when it comes to anything beauty, their make up and skincare selection is huuuuuuge. As my skin wasn't in it's best state I thought i'd go all out and get a full routine - what's the worst that could've happened, a few breakouts maybe? I treated myself to: a cleanser, eye makeup remover, a few sheet masks, reusable make up cloths, make up wipes and a moisturiser. The only things I didn't manage to get my hands on were a facial scrub or a toner which was a little disappointing but my local Primark doesn't always have the full selection so I'm sure they're available in other stores.

Gentle Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover £0.90
If an eye makeup remover doesn't have two parts to it then i'm never convinced it will get all my mascara off without me having to tug at my eyes and cause premature ageing. If you don't know what I mean by two parts - it's basically a product made up of both an oil and a water part and you shake the product to activate it. As you can see from the header this product literally cost 90p, which is just craziness right? I mean yes it is a travel size one but that price is impossible to say no to. I simply applied a small amount onto one of the make up remover clothes or a cotton pad and I held it over my closed eye without tugging or rubbing at the make up, after about 20 seconds when I removed the cloth a large percentage of my mascara went with it. There was no irritation around my eye whatsoever and it contains Vitamin E so it's a really comfortable product to use.

Sheet Masks £0.80
Sheet masks are something in the skincare world that are very often over priced so I never waste my money, I believe in the drugstore they tend to be around £3-4 which for one use is just not worth it in my opinion. The Primark masks start from 80p and there are so many different ones for all skin types. I picked up the Hydrate and the Glow masks as these were the most appealing to me and they're biodegradable which is an added bonus. There is a lot of product on the sheet mask so they can get a little messy but no more than normal for a sheet mask so afterwards I just rubbed what I could into the skin and removed any excess. My skin was left silky smooth and exactly as it said on the packet so for 80p i'm definitely going to stock up.

Reusable Makeup Cloths £2.50 for 3 (Grey, White & Pink)
'Just add water' they say, 'it will remove all traces of make up' they say and they're not wrong! I have always been so intrigued by the concept of just adding some water onto a soft cloth to remove make up but I can't say I thought it would actually work. I couldn't have been more wrong - I haven't tested them just yet with a full face but on my everyday make up they work a treat, it's like wiping your face with silk. After trying it out I went over my face with a cotton pad and some micellar water and literally nothing... was on the pad, my face was entirely clean. You get three in a packet so I have been washing mine in the washing machine as and when I need to and they come out softer than ever.

H2OHH Micellar Wipes £1 for a 2 pack
I haven't used make up wipes for a very long time but I saw biodegradable and enriched with rose water so I had to get them. A lot of make up wipes can be extremely dry and just not very effective when it comes to actually getting make up off my face so I didn't have the highest of hopes but I was actually pleasantly surprised as these had a decent amount of micellar water on them. Make up wipes are always handy to have and at £1 for 2 packs, it's a no-brainer.

Balm to Oil Cleanser £3.00
This is actually my second time purchasing this but I had to include it because it's such a lovely product. If you like balm to oil products that literally melt your make up away with no real effort needed then you will love this. It's an extremely soft texture so it glides over the skin, you need the smallest amount and it gets to work instantly. It's also part of their naturals range which is cruelty free, vegan and made of 95%  naturally derived ingredients. It has a very light and gentle scent to it so I can imagine it works well on sensitive skin as well as all other skin types.

Daily Moisturiser £3.00
This is the culprit that lead to this entire haul and I've saved the best until last. Another one of the PS Naturals collection has changed the game, with Coconut Water and Australian Kakadu Plum this moisturiser leaves the skin feeling extremely soft and hydrated. It is a lot thicker than I was originally expecting and it has a very light but fresh scent so you only need a very small amount otherwise it can leave that white look to the skin (you know the one when you put too much sun cream on). It does stay tacky for a minute or so but then it does completely absorb into the skin. I'm certainly in no rush to spend £30 on a new moisturiser when I have the choice of this one.

23 February
If I had to choose between putting a face of make up on and snoozing my alarm... I'm going with the extra time in bed no matter what day it is. Monday to Friday at work I don't like to wear anything heavy on my skin to just be sat in the office and Laura Mercier totally has my back on this as these two products allow me to still look put together and fresh faced with minimal effort.

I like to apply both products with my hands just as I would a moisturiser starting with the Hydrating Primer. I love to use this product every single morning even if I'm not putting anything on top, a small amount of this leaves the skin incredibly hydrated and it doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy at all it simply absorbs into the skin. It contains vitamins A,C & E to condition and protect the skin. I believe they have just bought out 5 new formula's for their primers so i'm not sure that this exact one is still available - but i'm sure the new ones are just as beautiful on the skin.

As the tinted moisturiser is such light coverage it just blends seamlessly with the warmth from my hands. I think if you were desperate to build coverage with this product you probably could but it would involve a lot of it. It's perfect for covering any redness and just adding a little colour into the skin whilst evening out skin tone. It is an incredibly comfortable product to wear all day long as it is so light on the skin and refreshing. As it is a tinted moisturiser it doesn't cover imperfections so if I do have a blemish or two I will go in with concealer over the top but literally only to the blemish as I don't like to take away from the results of the tinted moisturiser. I use shade Cameo in this product, however there are 20 different shades to choose from.

These two products leave the skin naturally glowing and healthy, I am totally in love. I will leave a link to them both here.

29 January
With our skin being our bodies largest organ - let's just say it's a commitment. our skin has it's own individual needs and if you ignore that, chances are it's going to lash out at you for it. When I think back to the days I was in school and I would literally clean my skin with a make up wipe and I would get so frustrated/upset and ask myself why is my skin so bad? when really it was my own fault. Over the years I have tried multiple skin products & tools, I have listened to peoples recommendations even when they have an entirely different skin type to me and I've regretted nearly every purchase. I can safely say now in 2020 I have a set routine of products that work for me and my skin is the best it has ever been. I wanted to share these products/tools with you so hopefully you too can be one step closer to your perfect skin routine.

If there is one thing that has changed the game for me the most it is Foreo. I have literally only owned this for a month and within the first few days there were visible results in my skin - it was glowing. I tend to use my Foreo Luna Mini 2 in the evenings with the Ole Henrikson Truth Juice. It isn't the cheapest - I believe this one is £99, but the results are worth every penny. You can use it in the morning or evening, in the shower, they are travel friendly and you get around 300 uses each time it is charged which is crazy. I always make sure my make up is removed before using my Foreo as it cleans deep into your pores and I don't like the idea that any make up could be pushed in.

After years of watching Jamie Genevieve talk about how Ole Henrikson has changed her skin I finally took the plunge this year and I am so glad I did. Again I haven't been using these products very long at all but the results are just incredible. I have always found that cleansers I've tried in the past either dry the skin too much or don't clean it enough and the formula is generally not what my skin likes. My skin has never felt cleaner than with this product and you literally need the tiniest amount to remove a full face of make up even waterproof eyes. In the mornings I like to use this cleanser on its own and just use a face cloth with water to remove it. If I am using this product with the Foreo in the evening I will actually use this cleanser as the second part to my skin routine as the 'deep clean' and take my make up off with another product mentioned later on in this post.

Sticking on the subject of Ole Henrikson - the Dark Spot Toner is another amazing product. It leaves the skin feeling incredibly clean and comfortable but you can also feel it working (it almost makes the skin tingle for just a second). I will warn you if you have an open blemish or any sore areas on the face it does sting a little but again it stops after a second. This product is great for evening out skin tone and texture.

On the very rare occasion that I actually make an effort with my appearance and I have make up to remove I will always reach for the Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter as it literally melts everything away and as it's for sensitive skin it is a very gentle but effective product.

On April 17th 2019 I posted about this moisturiser and nearly a year on I am still absolutely loving it. The Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. If you would like to read in depth about this moisturiser you can read about it here. It's lightweight but also leaves the skin feeling incredibly smooth and hydrated.

Eye cream is something I have promised myself I will get into this year and so far so good. I have been loving the Clinique All About Eyes as it's a gel-like cream so it absorbs nice and quickly but is also very cooling under the eyes. It's a very hydrating cream and anything to keep those fine lines at bay - i'm sold.

I have a pretty tricky skin type to keep under control as I can suffer from break outs and oily skin but also dry and sensitive skin so I would highly recommend the above products if you are in need of a skin care saviour.

What are your holy grail skin care products?
