Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette Review

If you haven't got this palette already, you NEED it. It retails at £35 but its worth every penny!

The colours in this palette are absolutely stunning, very pigmented and literally smell of cocoa. Lets face it, everyones a sucker for cocoa. Before I owned this palette I stuck to the Urban Decay Naked Palettes which everyone loves but I just found that I was always reaching for more than one palette to get all the colours I needed, this palette however has a bit of everything from perfect transition shades to the deepest smokey shade which is perfect for travelling. The only thing this palette doesn't have is grey tones but that didn't phase me as I don't tend to wear those anyway!

From left to right these shades are:
Gilded Ganache, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Black Forest Truffle, Triple Fudge

Gilded Ganache is one of my least favourite colours. Its an olive brown with a gold shimmer to it and looks absolutely gorgeous in the palette, however when I actually tried this shade on my eyes I just found it a little disappointing as it crumbles and isn't as pigmented as I'd hoped.

White Chocolate I literally use every single day without fail. Its the perfect base colour for any eyeshadow look and alongside Mac's Soft Ochre paint pot it is a match made in heaven. Its just a very  pale nude which works really well at covering any veins on the eyelids.

Milk Chocolate is literally as its named, its a medium brown matte shade which is lush for a natural smoky eye!

Black Forest Truffle is gorgeous. Its a deep plum with a gold shimmer perfect for autumn time!

Triple Fudge is the only shade I haven't used yet! Its a very deep grey toned brown with a matte finish.

From left to right these shades are:
Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Semi-Sweet, Strawberry Bon Bon, Candied Violet, Amaretto

Salted Caramel is a coral toned nude with a matte finish.

Marzipan is my favourite colour in the palette. Its just so pretty!! Its a pink toned highlighting shade and it goes well with any other shadows in the palette or looks just as good on its own.

Semi-Sweet is a great crease colour! Its a slightly deeper brown than milk chocolate and its also a matte finish.

Strawberry Bon Bon is a very very pale pink with a matte finish.

Candied Violet is the only other shade I wasn't that impressed with! Again in the palette it is stunning, its just a little tricky to make it look this good on the eyelid. Its a dark purple eyeshadow with a lighter purple shimmer in it.

Amaretto is stuuuuunnning. A gorgeous Copper shimmer which is also perfect for autumn. IN LOVE.

From left to right these shades are:
Hazelnut, Creme Brûlée, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial, Champagne Truffle

Just look how stunning this bottom row of eyeshadows are!

Hazelnut is slightly similar to semi-sweet however it has much more of a shimmer in it.

Creme Brûlée is a very warm toned golden eyeshadow, definitely one of my favourites in the palette.

Haute Chocolate is again another shimmer finish, however its quite a bit deeper than hazelnut.

Cherry Cordial is a stunning plum shimmer.

Champagne Truffle is the nicest highlighting eyeshadow I have ever used, it looks so stunning on the brow bone. You can also use this one as a highlighter for the face.
